"Disconnected" is a visual dialogue between tradition and technology, between memory and obsolescence. The work transposes the ancient tradition of painted epitaphs into the digital age. The crosses no longer mourn human lives, but the slow disappearance of what makes us human: connection, emotion, identity.
With irony and tenderness, the epitaphs speak of robots, algorithms, and souls that were, in the end, unplugged. The vibrant blue palette and folk-art-inspired borders create a bittersweet tension between the familiar and the strange between what we remember and what we delete.
