Chrysalis — a transitional state.
A moment suspended between two forms.
A phase of reorganizing ideas, energy, and matter.
Seemingly still, yet charged with the intensity of imminent change.
Change is the axis of my experience — in life as much as in art.
It is not a choice. It is a necessity.
My mind operates in a state of constant tension and movement.
Change is regulation. Change is survival. Change is pleasure.
Chrysalis is also a personal process.
I move between extremes:
between color and its absence,
between excess and austerity,
between euphoria and collapse.
This is not a story about form.
It is a story about tension before form.
Painting, for me, is a process of continuous transformation.
The image appears in a transitional state — at a point that can lead either to disintegration or to ascent.
In nature, chrysalis leads to imago — a final form.
In art, there is no final form.
Imago would be an ending.
Chrysalis is possibility.
Chrysalis is the promise of immortality.
