My work consistently explores the complexity of the human mind: a territory of entanglements, ironies, and contradictions.
In my current work, "Inmóvil," my focus shifts specifically toward the dimension of time and the persistence of identity, that strange sensation that, despite biological maturation and changing contexts, the inner core remains unaltered.
I use humor as a strategy to address the existential, transforming the work into a mental labyrinth where playfulness intersects with the uncertainty of maturity.
Visually, the image is constructed through fragmented brushstrokes. This fragmentation serves as a direct allusion to our own nature: that of beings who are constantly assembling, disassembling, and reconstructing themselves.
