Held in Passing

Held in Passing explores the fragile boundary between presence and disappearance within public space. A child turns briefly toward the viewer while the surrounding adults dissolve into motion and anonymity. The hand resting on her shoulder remains deliberately ambiguous — protective, guiding, or controlling. Drawing on the language of cinematic photography and unstable memory, the work examines how identity can feel both visible and vulnerable within the collective movement of modern life.
