"Is the problem in thinking healthily, or is the problem in thinking unhealthyly?"
The work was born from a dream, experienced during a complex and painful period, and later reworked. The latinized title of the work is a sort of play on words that can simultaneously refer to two phrases with opposite meanings, the two phrases I began with. This choice lies in the ambiguous meaning that emerges from the work itself, loaded with symbols whose deeper meaning may not be the same for everyone. Is the scene a metaphor for a liberation from the darkest and most remote thoughts we can carry within us? Or is it an allegory for the acceptance of the irresolvable coexistence with these thoughts?
