Light pillow

My current work emerges from a deep reflection on the global events shaping our present world. Through my practice, I seek to offer a perspective that contrasts with the prevailing negativity of contemporary narratives. We are living in a ‘hinge
moment’—a period of profound transition where we stand on the threshold of
an unknown reality.
In this body of work, the ‘zipper’ serves as a central metaphor.
It represents the urgent search for answers to the complex questions of our time,
symbolizing the act of unsealing or revealing what lies beneath the surface of our perceived reality. To navigate this uncertainty, I draw upon the enduring energy of stones and the natural world, which act as grounding forces and silent companions in our quest for meaning.
In Light Pillow, I tackle the subject of existence, where can we journey through dreams (the pillow)? What worlds would we encounter if we dared to open the zipper?
