Point of view

The work is composed of an asymmetrical glass diptych: the first glass, the primary support, is rectangular (86 x 30 cm x cm), while the second is shaped like a 90° circular sector with a 25 cm radius. The painting technique is mixed: the front is oil on glass, the back is acrylic on glass.
The work depicts, on the primary support, a portion of the Earth's surface seen from a different "Point of View," free of any geopolitical grids or boundaries: only dry land, mountains, hills, plains, deserts, and even rivers, lakes, and seas. Added to this is a segment of the starry sky, including the constellations of Aquarius, Pisces, and Pisces Australis with Fomalhaut, Pegasus, Equuleus, Sculptor, and Cetus, as well as the planets Mars and Saturn.
