VMD Pavilion of Peace — Spatial Concept

The pavilion is experienced as a passage.

Visitors enter through a small bridge into a projection tunnel — a transition from the outer world into a state of peace.

On the floor, a map of Celje with the Green Celjan is embedded. Above, Modrijanka appears as a soft blue light projection.

The view opens towards an unrealized bridge.

In peace there is silence. In silence, it is possible to hear your essence.

Or not. Both are possible.

The bridge is the passage.

Entering the tunnel means leaving one state and moving into stillness.

The unrealized bridge is a possibility — just as it is possible to reconnect with oneself.
