"Mythical Creatures" is a polyptych of 4 works
"The Egg of the Mamnik", "The Horn of the Karakondjula", "The Wreath of the Samodivat" and "The Scale of the Dragon" are ancient relics carrying the power of four mythical creatures. Gathered together, they awaken the Halata, a mysterious creature born from the storm between light and darkness. She brings fertile rain and protection, and at other times darkness, whirlwinds and fear.
Technique: Hand-cast rough paper made of pulp and pigments with embedded plant fibers and particles.
