The Global Heart explores the fragile yet resilient core of shared humanity at a time of planetary, social, and emotional fracture. The work presents the heart not only as a biological organ, but as a universal symbol of empathy, responsibility, and interconnected life.
Layered imagery evokes a body that has been wounded yet continues to pulse and endure. Fractures, scars, and subtle signs of repair coexist within the composition, reflecting the paradox of a world shaped by damage and care, loss and regeneration. The heart becomes a planetary vessel—holding memory, pain, and the persistent possibility of renewal.
Rather than depicting collapse, the work focuses on endurance. It asks where collective healing begins, and whether attentiveness, compassion, and ethical responsibility can still guide human action. The Global Heart invites the viewer to pause, to listen inwardly, and to recognise their own role within a living, interconnected whole.
