Knitting the Narrative: Fashion Design as Collaborative Expression

The artwork is a based on a collaborative approach of fashion design, showcasing a harmonious fusion traditional crafting techniques with modern experimentation. It stands as a testament to the community's creativity, craftsmanship, and historical authenticity. Guided by my role as a designer and community leader, the project explores the exchanges of personal narratives, collective creativity, and sustainable practices. The project weaves together compelling stories shared by the women living in Rumšiškės town, Lithuania, revealing the main goal of empowering the local community to share their experiences and create art using successful co-creation practices.
