The work takes its title from the British anthology television series referring to the black screen in which we reflect when we turn off the computer. What remains is only our reflection within a black and bleak box.
We are all protagonists in this work, thanks to the presence of a black obsidian mirror, set inside the panel.
This work reflects on narcissism, on the danger of closing oneself in one's world, refusing to confront others and the surrounding reality. It is also an invitation to look at oneself and accept one's own darkness, one's fears which, if welcomed as friends, represent the key to accessing authentic personal growth.
