This is part of a series that is inspired by nature and follows organic forms and materials. Wood is, potentially, the first material that humanity used for art purposes. Bone is also a material that was used in antiquity. The oldest recorded bone tools date back to a million and a half years. In this work the bone is “merged” with the wood in such a way that the connection that it is like the bone grew around the bone. This is one of the three proposed work that all combine wood (as the base material) in interaction with three other “materials” that played a major role in human history: bone, fire and gold.
