Axis of Silence

“Axis of Silence” explores the human experience as a space where apparent opposites coexist and gradually transform into one another. Through the tension between light and darkness, the work reflects on the relationship between matter and consciousness, presence and transcendence, structure and inner experience.

Two spheres are suspended along a vertical axis, separated by a distance that becomes as significant as the forms themselves. The space between them carries a quiet charge, suggesting attraction without contact and dialogue without resolution. A delicate golden circle positioned at the center acts as a point of equilibrium, marking a moment of transition where opposing states are held in balance.

The gradual movement from density toward light invites contemplation of reality not as a fixed condition, but as a continuous process of becoming. Rather than offering a single interpretation, the work opens a meditative space in which viewers may encounter their own sense of stillness, connection, and inner alignment.
