One Night of Siddhartha

By the banks of the Ganges,
Siddhartha lies fast asleep beneath a tree.

The tree’s branches stretch upward silently, piercing the veil of night.
A lifetime of seeking blooms into rootless flowers.

In his dreams linger all the splendors he once embraced,
Which dissolve into swirling stardust in an instant.

The Ganges murmurs softly in his dream.
As all thoughts merge into the hues of the night,

Dreams embody the fleeting moments of pursuit,
And further represent the eternal form of spiritual existence.

Wrapped in utter tranquility, he drifts into peaceful slumber.
