Through the Sweet Eye

This artwork explores the difference between reality and illusion through a surreal girl with two very different eyes. One eye sees the truth: a real world made in black and white, filled with hidden faces, details, and deeper emotions. The other eye, shaped like an egg, sees a sweeter version of the world: colourful, playful, tasty, and full of imagination.
However, beneath the bright colours, the truth is still there. The colourful world is only a surface, almost like an illusion covering the black-and-white reality underneath. The cake appears both in her hand and as part of her dress, connecting sweetness with identity. Her fingers become wishing candles, suggesting hope, desire, and the wish to see life in a more beautiful way.
