The painting is part of a series of paintings exploring the concept of humanity, addressing issues of fate and destiny, as well as spiritual and metaphysical perspectives. The work was not painted, but utilized mixed media. Acrylics, oils, pastels, and graphite were used, among other materials.
A fragment of a critical text about the work of M. Drozd-Witek. Author: Makiel-Hędrzak / Visual artist and art critic.Silhouettes, objects, and shadows are like lines filled with metaphors, associations, symbols, comparisons, and pauses. Humans (...) are constantly confronted with some fragment of the universe that demands from us condensed content, feelings, thoughts, decisions, and emotions. These, in turn, aid in a kind of deciphering of the complexity of the images available to us. Their diverse configurations form a narrative of life, with the essential quantum of signs constituting the mystery. The guide for the eye here is a subtle thread of connections between layers of light, signs, and sounds of color. The alignment of rhythms in the movement of forms creates textures of silence. Like a hypersensitive film, the image is a reflection of the tiniest particles, where the reverse of fragility is that which endures unwaveringly.
