„The Face Of Humiliation” is a conceptual portrait created entirely through boot tracks application.
This piece translates the trauma of being emotionally or socially „stepped on” into the literal, physical gesture of stepping.
By using heavy footwear as a mark-making tool, the cardboard archives succesive layers of pressure and impact. These tracks gradually form a human face while simultaneously destroying its individuality. The identity of the humiliated figure is distorted by cumulative abuse, leaving a fractured visage where personal features are replaced by the raw texture of violation.
Through this aggressive metodology, the artwork explores the erasure of selfhood under systemic or personal oppresion, forcing the viewer to confront the tangible, heavy scars left behind by acts of humiliation.
