"Shelterbelt" Series
In this series, I turn to the language of pure abstraction, transforming my perceptual experience of nature into the strict architectonics of the canvas. For me, these vertical stripes, echoing the silhouettes of tree trunks, establish a clear, almost musical rhythm. This structural quality anchors the composition, evolving into a visual framework of the space I create.My primary conceptual focus shifts to the intervals—the coloristic clearings between the verticals. It is here, through the pulsation of vibrant colors, that I bring to life the metaphor of joy and liberation. Luminous accents allow me to disrupt the static nature of the lines, forging a sense of a discovered way out. Through this work, I offer the viewer a meditative transition from enclosure to light, where my painting serves as a conduit from chaos to harmony.
