Installation: Upcycled Wheel – Symbiotic 3
All works submitted are part of my installation project: Upcycled Wheel.
It would be great if this installation could be placed inside the main building, preferably on the ground floor. Depending on the amount of space I get, I can plan the size of some of the photographs to be printed, and hang them on 3 sides of the installation space.
Symbiotic 1:
This artwork started life as a drawing, then I layered it with a photograph, and then I used layers and colours and different techniques to create this artwork. It represents the way nature creates its own symbiosis, when left alone by human beings. In this artwork, we can also see some cells and other natural formations at a more microscopic level, as well as the visible forms of trees and plants. For flowering plants, intertwine with trees, and ferns to create their own harmony. Perhaps their roots exchange important nutrients and they have their own language, even if we can’t understand them. Nature and our eco-systems in forests are much more complex than we can ever imagine. The more we look, the more we will find amazing facts about life in forests, and woods.
Size: Variable (depending on the space available).
Note: some artworks can be hung back to back if they can be viewed from both sides.
