This paired ceramic sculpture represents a mother whale and her calf — a perfect symbol of maternal love, care, family connection, and harmony.

The sculpture is made of high‑temperature chamotte clay and covered with glazes.
I am inspired by the sea, the ocean, and its inhabitants — especially whales, which carry a deep meaning and are associated with peace and tranquility, inner harmony, eternity and the foundation of the universe, wisdom, infinity and grandeur, freedom, power and strength, stability, the natural element of the ocean, and a meditative state.
This enormous mammal is, for me, a mysterious and enigmatic creature.
