Set within a Mediterranean seascape, this painting explores the unconscious mind by presenting an impossible situation in which reality has been warped. The sea appears soft and peeled off like skin from one corner, its thin sheet-like surface revealing underlying rock formations and octopuses that seem to be surviving this unusual situation.
