n this work the human face becomes a perceptual threshold. The gaze appears split: one eye remains open to the visible world, while the other seems to collapse into a more internal and unstable dimension. This asymmetry generates a perceptual tension that directly implicates the observer. The face is not presented as a stable identity, but as a field of transformation in which consciousness and perception enter into conflict. The painting emphasizes the fragility of the gaze and the possibility that vision may not coincide with itself. Within this ambiguous space, the face does not return a definitive truth; instead, it becomes a site where the viewer is compelled to confront their own perceptual experience.
