Work on canvas executed in India ink, oil paint, and shellac. At the center of the composition, two cells lightly graze one another, suspended in a moment of near-contact. The work speaks of the body at a subatomic level, where matter is no longer understood as stable or discrete, but as a dynamic constellation of energies and probabilities. Within this framework, the “cells” function not as biological units but as metaphors for vibratory thresholds—sites of exchange in which presence is continuously negotiated. The composition evokes a body that is not fixed, but emergent: shaped by invisible interactions, entangled forces, and continuous transformation. What appears as a minimal gesture—a touch, or its anticipation—thus unfolds as a deeper ontological condition, where the body is reimagined as a field in flux, prior to form and beyond the limits of the visible.
