This piece represents a union of fear, strength, and conviction, serving as a medium to translate the messy reality of the human experience into something permanent. It reflects the tension between beauty and its perceived opposite, specifically as it relates to body image expectations and the female experience in a patriarchal world. The body represents dissolution of being, while attempting to stay tethered to the present, with fine and tentative attachments.
