[Relics] Venery

This work is deeply personal, an attempt to make sense of my identity and sense of agency following sexual assault. In the aftermath, I experienced feeling a loss of control over my body and environment, and making work became one of the only ways I could reclaim a sense of bodily autonomy. The act of producing became both response and grounding, a way to process what felt fragmented and overwhelming. The piece carries that tension, remaining direct, and emotionally charged.
