When I stepped back from the finished composition, layered with glued paper, a hidden story emerged — two ways of moving through life. Some of us notice textures, patterns, and quiet details. We pause, we see, and in that seeing we connect with the richness around us. Others live as if trapped beneath a camera lens twenty-four hours a day. Always performing, they run without direction, driven not by purpose but by ego. Their speed and show make them appear less human, more like restless actors on an endless stage. The contrast struck me: one way rooted in attention, presence, and depth; the other lost in the performance of self. This collage became a theater where both sides exist at once — the humble theater of textures, and the hollow theater of display. In the end, what we choose to see defines who we truly are.
