When I first approached the subject of landscapes, I wanted to paint scenes by mimicking traditional methods like bush and paint. Eventually though, I began to realise the potential of digital tools and used them to produce artworks that looked very different from old medium. This simple yet complex composition of an Autumn tree on a windy day fills the top two-thirds of the artwork. The background is almost nondescript with the exception of a couple of other trees in the distant. The leaf laden branches are an unrecognisable mass of whirling yellows, oranges and red colours. The intention was always to convey movement that would be very different from any done before and in the process, enrich the landscape tradition.
No Ai was used in the production of this artwork.
