This painting, one of works in my Fragments of Timelessness series, reflects my attempt to capture the fleeting beauty of ordinary moments during my time in Jingdezhen. The arrangement of wooden objects and handwoven bamboo pieces carries a quiet sense of ritual, shaped by the rhythms of daily life and traditional craftsmanship. Through layered colors, textured lines, and simplified forms, the work transforms familiar handmade objects into fragments of memory and atmosphere. Influenced by the stillness of Jingdezhen’s workshops and streets, the painting explores how everyday materials can hold traces of time, labor, and human presence, preserving moments that might otherwise quietly disappear.
