Aistesis
Aistesis takes its title from the ancient Greek term meaning sensation or perception.
The work explores the emergence of sensory awareness through the interaction between a static visual field and a musical structure. The image remains fixed, allowing the viewer to freely explore its internal tensions and resonances while the music unfolds in time.
Rather than describing a specific subject, Aistesis invites a perceptual experience in which image and sound coexist as parallel trajectories, activating an intimate and subjective response.
The absence of visual movement places responsibility on the viewer, who becomes the true agent of the work’s temporal and emotional navigation.
