“Asherah” is a reference to the goddess Asherah, associated with the moon and fertility. In this artwork, Asherah is portrayed as an elusive presence, like the light at the centre of the composition.
A long corridor leads into the unknown. Sculptures rest upon the arches, while the entirely white hallway is reflected on a marble floor. Light enters through the arches on both sides, creating an atmosphere of mystery, stillness and transcendence.
