Lost paradises of modern times turn tension between reality and the imagined into endless journeys of the soul in search of happiness and one’s inner self. My exploration of elusive ideals echo the legends of Atlantis, a legendary place of perfection. The blue flowers and birds are recurring symbols of my art coming from ancient myths and Romantic tradition. Fragile and eternal at once they are suspended between dream and reality, reminding us that happiness is not a destination but a state. Transparent spheres contain human dreams as containment and infinite possibility, suggest our deepest ideals are glimpsed through fragile, shifting lenses. The surreal landscape is a metaphor for paradise outside time and space, both within and beyond us. To chase it is to enter a process of self-discovery: each step towards the unknown reveals another layer of soul. The pursuit of Atlantis is not about reaching a fixed point but unfolding new dimensions of understanding.
