Many people today look at their phones everywhere they go, even while walking.

A breathtaking landscape may unfold before them, friends may be beside them, and a precious moment may be passing, yet they seem that they forget even the beat of their own heart as they stare into a screen.
Seen from the outside, this behavior appears strangely comical.

We live on an extraordinarily beautiful planet, EARTH.
Instead of the glow of phones, perhaps we might look at the scenery before us and spend this moment with greater presence.

I created this painting with that wish in mind.
