Blue Dream. Red or Blue.

Viper Red is part of a diptych called "Red or Blue". The main idea incorporated in these series of paintings is the alchemy of selection which takes place in our brain. We choose emotionally in spite of the numeric parameters (in the particular painting 160 horses, like in the iconic Porsche 901 from 1963). And this emotional side of our perception is probably the last stand of humanity. We choose cars, football, teams, political orders and at some point we skip to notice that the only difference is color. Is the sky in the West Bluer? Is the passion of the East more Red? Same people, same perplexed look in the eyes, same domestic dreams.
