Blue Grids is a sculpture exhibited in my solo exhibition Topographical Spaces at the Architects House Gallery in Jaffa (2015), curated by Eran Tamir and Ruth Jacobson. The exhibition was followed by an article I wrote, later published in the book The Depth of the Field: Photography, Therapy and Phototherapy, published by Musrara School, a higher education institution for multidisciplinary art.

The sculpture consists of a wooden box containing four photographic images that represent different angles of a metal grid in a pool prior to casting at a building site under construction, positioned on iron scaffolding. The work embodies the relation between the rectangular wooden box and the photographed images of the pool of water, defined and delimited by a metallic grid that structures space, while at the same time aspiring toward a state of fluidity and the breaking of glass.
