Bread and Circuses

Concept: "Bread and circuses!" – this popular expression comes to us from the history of Ancient Rome. The expression describes the primitive desires of the crowd, easily appeased by simple food and the spectacle of battle. This distracts the people from political problems and allows rulers to manipulate society.
