An icon of shopping, brands, and everyday urban life, the Rinascente Building stands at the corner of Via Roma and Largo Carlo Felice. Part of the historic arcade frontage overlooking Cagliari's waterfront, it rises above the movement of the street, its rooftop sign becoming a familiar landmark within the city's skyline.
In this drawing, the building is seen from the perspective of a passerby, suspended between the restless rhythm of traffic and a slower sense of time. The façade, carved by the intense Mediterranean light, meets the nervous flow of cars and pedestrians below. While the city remains in constant motion, the building endures as a lasting urban icon, holding together memory and everyday life beneath a light made almost dusty by the continuous passage of the city.
