CN 06 Viale Regina Margherita

Viale Regina Margherita is an in-between place, a boundary between the historic districts of Marina and Villanova. It is a street more often crossed than experienced, a space that accompanies everyday journeys without holding those who pass through it.

In this work, however, the journey loses its usual purpose. Attention shifts away from the destination and settles on the route itself. The rhythm of the recently pruned trees, the continuity of the architecture, and the evening light emerge—less forceful than the summer sun, yet able to trace the outlines of the avenue with remarkable clarity.

The everyday passage thus becomes a moment of awareness. A place designed to lead elsewhere reveals an identity of its own, showing how even the time spent in transit can become an experience of place.
