Catching the Light

This artwork brings a sense of being under water, and the net like shape at the bottom catches the light that shines down. You can also see this as a parallell to this world we live in where a lot seems dark, heavy and ugly things are lurking under the surface. Then its really important to look for and catch all glimmers of light, hope and love we can find - its there if we look for it.
Most of the painting is done with acrylic, but some parts are in charcoal and oil pastel.
