Catharsis" series is dedicated to women, and more specifically, to the traumas that women go through. Sometimes, life is a bitter experience; a mirror breaks and the entire image of us is no longer reflected. The feeling of "being" denotes an existence somewhere on the edge of things and an inconsistency of the self.
"Andreea" is part of this series and it portrays a woman's perception post-trauma. It features a partially erased female profile alongside its reflection. The work symbolizes the profound impact of losing loved ones, where a shattered mirror disrupts the complete image reflection.
