The Clay Cliffs in the Omarama are constantly washed by the wind and rain, thus creating a primal cathedral like landscape structure. This painting was inspired by the awe and the spiritual connection I felt toward the Clay Cliffs. I wonder if cliffs like this across the world have been the inspiration for the way cathedrals are built.
