This series of 3 provides a commentary on Macrocosmic/Microcosmic Symmetry through the persistent recurrence of nature’s fundamental patterns. It argues that principles such as sacred geometry and fractal recursion are not abstract mathematics imposed upon nature, but are the literal, self-organizing syntax of reality itself; present in the architecture of a snowflake, the formation of a galaxy, and the structures of consciousness.
In these works, the cube is not static geometry; rather it is depicted in a state of Entanglement. Its boundaries are defined by light and color rather than rigid mass, suggesting that all structures are mutable, porous, and continuously 'co-becoming' with their environment. The work serves as an exploration of Sympoietic Ontologies, a visual argument for the essential, indivisible nature of structure and field, observer and observed.
Through a methodology of "making-with" primordial elements from the Periodic Table, the work collapses hierarchies between the celestial and terrestrial. These works, created as part of why Master of Arts practice-based research, invite a reconciliation with the interconnectedness of existence: a reminder that we are stellar remnants navigating an infinite universe.
