The painting is inspired by the 1950s/1960s Hollywood silverscreen era. Encapsulating a style of Audrey Hepburn and the fashion of the time, complemented with the backdrop of timeless Venetian archtechture. The splash of colour in the painting is a hommage to Giovanni Bellini, a 15th century Venetian artist who revolutionized Venetian painting.
