This is part of a series that is inspired by nature and follows organic forms and materials. Wood is, potentially, the first material that humanity used for art purposes. Gold later followed. Symbolically one is “poor” the other shows “luxury”. In this work of these series they become one. This is one of the three proposed work that all combine wood (as the base material) in interaction with three other “materials” that played a major role in human history: bone, fire and gold.
