"Foliá" explores how a human embrace can become a sanctuary for both body and soul. The artwork is inspired by the primal sense of security that an embrace provides. From the moment we are born, the embrace of another human being becomes a refuge, where one body naturally transforms into a protective shield for another.
The purpose of this piece is to evoke that very same feeling in the viewer. The figures are intentionally depicted without facial features, aiming to capture the pure essence of emotion rather than individual identity. Just as animals build temporary nests for protection, humans find a fleeting yet profound sanctuary in the warmth of another's chest. A brief moment of absolute safety.
