Foot on the Ground

Both Foot on the Ground and Theater of Texture (2025) are part of my Changed Forever series, a body of collages exploring resilience, awareness, and transformation through fragmentation. In Foot on the Ground, the face beneath the net becomes the focal point — a veil over emotion, surrounded by anchored legs that symbolize strength and balance amid uncertainty. Theater of Texture contrasts presence and performance, layering surfaces that reveal two ways of moving through life. I chose these two works together for their shared palette and emotional rhythm — a dialogue of grounded stillness and layered motion, where color and form echo each other to create a stronger visual impact.
