“Forgive Me” is a painting about guilt, sacrifice, and the human need for forgiveness. A wooden beam, nails, blood, and a crown of thorns form a powerful symbolic composition that speaks of pain, responsibility, and redemption.
The work does not show a human figure, yet the human presence is strongly felt through the traces left behind. The objects become witnesses to suffering — not only physical suffering, but also inner conflict, regret, and the hope of being forgiven.
Through earthy tones, sharp shadows, and the contrast between rough wood and blood-red marks, the painting creates a quiet but intense emotional space. “Forgive Me” invites the viewer to reflect on faith, remorse, sacrifice, and the fragile possibility of mercy.
