Frida’s mirror

The title refers to Frida Kahlo—not as an image, but as an inner stance:
her radical honesty, through which she made pain, identity, and dignity visible.
The face in this work is not a specific portrait.
It is a projection surface for inner states—calm, alert, gathered.
The gaze holds its ground without demanding anything,
and opens a space in which strength and vulnerability
are allowed to exist side by side.
Whoever encounters this gaze does not recognize Frida,
but their own inner story:
what has been carried, what has remained,
and what does not need to be hidden.
This work is addressed to those
who do not understand art as decoration,
but as a quiet dialogue—
as something that stays
and deepens over time.
