In this black marble sculpture, the glamor of fashion reveals the human and the world beneath the surface. Folds carry traces of stories and contrast with the iconic, sharp lines of a sacoche, which radiate order and perfection. With this work, I aim to reflect the human element in our society in contrast to a commercial world, here translated through fashion and glamor. Traditional sculptural craftsmanship manifests itself here as a quiet counterpoint within that commercial context.
