Halcyon Days

This artwork belongs to my series "Labyrinths" and was created using layers of paper, acrylics, pigment and charcoal on canvas. The labyrinth is a recurring theme in my work, symbolizing our struggles, our course through life. Here barren trees are depicted on a vivid blue background, with moths flying around them, to remind us that the Halcyon days are not a certainty and we should take steps to ensure the planet's, and our own , future.
